Job Description As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol in Rochelle, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and security-related concerns according to site policies. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor logs, and report policy violations, maintenance issues, or other security-related matters to the appropriate contacts. Support facility operations by communicating clearly with site personnel and first responders during incidents, emergencies, and/or operational disruptions. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card/license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
