Entry Phlebotomist IOur client, a medical research company, is looking for an Entry Phlebotomist I for their Clermont, FL location. Responsibilities include:Helping with patient care by greeting them upon arrival and answering any questions or concerns with care and compassion.Maintaining the integrity of the waiting area and assisting with breaks when other Phlebotomists are unavailable.Utilizing Phlebotomy skills to grow within the company.Creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining what to expect to patients regarding the scheduled procedure for the patients in a safe and accurate manner.Demonstrating excellence in customer care while focusing on process skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.Maintaining a safe and professional environment.Maintaining required records and documentation.Demonstrating organizational commitment and promoting a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public in general along with a willingness to learn new skills.Requirements include:Ability to handle patients with care and compassion while assisting with check ins in the lobby through either a self-service kiosk or handheld tablet.Willingness to work both in the lobby and in a draw room with patients to help with breaks that need to be covered.Ability to perform with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.High level of customer service experience/skills are required - this is critical to the heart of the role.High school diploma or equivalent required - no exceptions.Phlebotomy experience is required, even if just an intern/externship to learn the basics.Minimum of 1-2 years of client facing customer service required (Retail, Home Health Aide, etc).Some phlebotomy experience is required.Keyboard/data entry experience a must.Why should you apply?Health benefitsReferral programExcellent growth and advancement opportunities
