Principal HWIL Software Engineer

Salary: $107,500 - 204,500 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another STEM discipline, along with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• We need advanced experience across the Agile software development lifecycle in three or more areas, such as C++ data structures and algorithms, C, C++, Python, object-oriented programming, real-time software/firmware/hardware integration, software test equipment maintenance, or software requirements definition.
• We require advanced experience in at least two of the following: embedded software, embedded software security, embedded operating systems such as Linux, RTOS, or VxWorks, and software architecture design and implementation.
• We require an active and transferable U.S. government Secret clearance before the start date, with the ability to obtain program access after starting.
• We require U.S. citizenship, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

• We collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to develop software that controls Hardware-In-the-Loop facilities, including missile flight simulators.
• We design, code, and integrate software in a real-time environment.
• We analyze system capabilities to identify end-user needs, resolve issues related to program intent, output requirements, and input data acquisition, and ensure hardware and software standards are met.
• We design and implement build procedures that support hardware and software product development and use.
• We may define software configuration standards for broader company use.
• We may train software developers on configuration management tools and software quality standard implementation, including model-based design and control modeling.
