Senior Accountant
\nContract to Hire
\nOn-site- Palm Beach Gardens, FL
\n$50-65/hr
\n \nMust Haves:
\nAble to be on-site 5 days a week
\n5+ years experience
\nBachelors in Accounting
\nStrong excel skills
\n \nPreferred:
\nNetSuite ERP/Workday
\nCPA
\n \nWe are seeking a Sr. Accountant with experience in a professional services environment who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is eager to contribute to a collaborative leadership team.
\n \nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including GL, AP/AR, payroll, and revenue recognition \n
- Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes \n
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP \n
- Document and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures \n
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning \n
- Coordinate and file monthly sales tax filings (experience with Avalara preferred) \n
- Liaise with external factoring companies, auditors, and tax advisors \n
- Support implementation and enhancements of accounting systems and process improvements \n
- Act as a business partner to senior leadership and department heads, providing financial insights and recommendations \n
