Switch Technician (B) - 1st ShiftEaton's AER FED division is currently seeking a Switch Technician (B) - 1st Shift to join our team in Bethel, CT!The core hours are 7 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday.The hourly rate for this position is $22.50 per hour. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What You'll Do:The Electro-Mechanical Technician (Switch) is responsible for loading test stands and setting up testing for very small and intricate parts. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge in reading, interpreting, and following technical work instructions and blueprints. This first shift position is well suited for a patient individual who is a fast learner, is focused on quality output, and enjoys working in a demanding atmosphere.In this function you will:• Set up, start and then break down test ovens which contain small electro-mechanical parts• Interpret customer and supplier requirements (via blueprints and work instructions)• Recommend design and process improvements to enhance manufacturability• Perform visual inspection of parts• Maintain quality recordsQualifications:Basic Qualifications:• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent related experience required.• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment required.• Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
