RN Cath Lab FT

Scope of Responsibility Registered Nurses provide nursing care to a group of patients for a designated time frame and will routinely lead a team of care providers. Responsible to Director of Cath Lab. Education Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science Nursing Training and Experience Current licensure with the Texas Board of Nursing Examiners Maintains American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Obtains and maintains ACLS within 90 days of employment At least 1 year of critical care, emergency department, or operating room experience, required Cardiac Cath Lab or special procedures experience, preferred Health and Background Requirements Employment contingent upon successful completion of immunization records Physical Demands Time spent in physical activities: rarely (less than half hour per day), occasionally (half to 2.5 hours per day), frequently (2.5 to 5.5 hours per day), continually (5.5 to 8 hours per day), not applicable.
