Full Cycle Chemical Sales Representative

Location: Metro Charlotte, NC or Mississippi only
Work Arrangement: Remote | Territory-Based
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking a Full Cycle Chemical Sales Representative to develop new business and manage customer relationships within an assigned territory. This is a strong opportunity for a motivated sales professional with experience selling chemicals, industrial products, or other technical solutions .

The role will focus heavily on new business development , while maintaining relationships with a smaller group of existing accounts. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing the sales process from initial prospecting through closing and ongoing customer support.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect for and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory

• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through closing

• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate chemical products or solutions

• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships

• Conduct customer visits and provide ongoing account support

• Prepare proposals, quotes, and pricing

• Negotiate pricing and terms and close new business

• Partner with technical and operations teams to ensure successful product delivery

• Communicate customer needs and market feedback to internal product and technical teams

• Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline, and customer information in CRM systems

• Travel throughout the assigned territory as needed

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in chemical sales is required

• Experience selling chemicals, industrial products, or technical products

• Proven experience with prospecting, lead generation, account management, and closing

• Ability to understand technical product information and customer processes

• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Ability and willingness to travel within the assigned territory

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered

Territory

Candidates should currently be located in the Metro Charlotte, NC area or Mississippi only.

Strong candidates who are willing to relocate may also be considered.
