Assistant Maintenance MechanicJoin a growing manufacturing team as an Assistant Maintenance Mechanic in St Charles. This position supports the maintenance department by assisting with preventive maintenance, basic repairs, and equipment upkeep to help ensure smooth and efficient production operations. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking to grow their technical skills in an industrial environment.ResponsibilitiesAssist with preventive maintenance on machinery and equipmentSupport troubleshooting and basic mechanical repairsHelp inspect equipment to ensure proper operationAssist during equipment breakdowns and maintenance tasksMaintain tools and keep the maintenance area organizedFollow safety procedures including lock-out/tag-outSupport documentation of maintenance activitiesFollow all safety, GMP, and quality standardsRequirementsBasic mechanical knowledge or maintenance experience preferredAbility to stand for the full shiftAbility to bend, kneel, and lift as neededComfortable working in a manufacturing environmentReliable transportationAbility to work in varying temperaturesMust pass mechanical/electrical aptitude testing and interview1st Shift Available (9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.)$Ready to grow your career in maintenance?
