Zip Code 77087 The Industrial Quotes Coordinator is responsible for product research, building a contact base for specific products, collecting pricing and data from our vendors and submitting bid packages to our customers. Essential Functions Communicate or work with all levels of management, Inside Sales/Outside Sales in the areas of planning, purchasing, logistics and operations regularly Communicate effectively with vendors and customers Collect pricing and data from our vendors Negotiate cost reduction with suppliers Participate in team strategizing to optimize product and freight spend Submit bid packages to our customers Follow all company policies, Texas and USA laws Meet all meeting deadlines before they are due Learn and possess good product knowledge Knowledge of different ways to research product capabilities Identifying how to best meet special customer requirements while maintaining efficiency in those operational flows Identifying issues that affect overall company profitability and implementing field methods that maximizes the bottom line profit of the overall company Able to build a contact base for specific products Creating improvements and changes when necessary Competencies 2 year Degree or Work experience equivalent Skills Microsoft Word/MS Excel/MS Outlook Schedule Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM #J-18808-Ljbffr
