Must-Have:
- Bachelor's degree in exercise science or physiology
- 2 years of exercise physiology experience
- BLS certification
Description:
Important! There is a strict attendance policy to ensure patient care. Any contractor who is absent from a scheduled shift or is more than 20 minutes late three times will be terminated immediately. Exceptions such as communicable diseases or hospitalizations with supporting evidence will be reviewed favorably.
Responsibilities include analyzing health indicators like blood pressure, oxygen usage, and heart rhythms before, during, and after physical exertion. Design customized physical activity programs aimed at achieving clinical recovery, weight management, or athletic performance goals. Counsel patients and their families on lifestyle changes to prevent or manage chronic conditions. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and physical therapists to integrate exercise therapy into holistic patient care plans. On-call required for two Saturdays per month from 6 AM to noon.
