Associate Legal Counsel - Corporate Trust (Remote Hybrid)

As an Associate Legal Counsel for Corporate Trust you will work on structured finance transactions, escrows, Muni & other Corporate Trust transactions by reviewing relevant transaction documentation and providing suggested changes to the documentation necessary to protect Corporate Trust's interests. How You'll Spend Your Time: Review and comment on structured finance documents, escrow agreements, Municipal and Corporate Bond and note documents and other transaction documentation. Advise administrators on post-closing extraordinary administrative duties of a legal nature. Maintain expertise and advise Compliance Officer and Corporate Trust Relationship Managers regarding risk & compliance matters. Advise Corporate Trust department on various legal issues. Maintain current on legal and compliance issues that may impact Corporate Trust department. Strategize with management on new opportunities, products and overall vision of CT. Create and maintain referral relationships with transaction counsel. In conjunction with Sales and Management, visit clients and attend industry conferences. Work closely with Relationship Managers and Management on ensuring smooth transaction closings. Stay active in life of the trust transactions, assisting with changes made to the transactions. Has ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Compensation Range: $83,810.00 - $179,300.00 The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB’s standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
