We have been engaged by one of our community-based clients to fill a Radiology Technologist in their radiology department. Performs a variety of standard and specialty diagnostic radiographic procedures with accuracy; responsibly administering ionizing radiation using fluoroscopy, computed and direct radiography (including the use of mobile c-arm and x-ray equipment). The responsibilities of Radiology Technologist include (but are not limited to):

• Assessing, evaluating, and testing patients
• Preparing and positioning patients for imaging
• Attending to patient needs during imaging procedures
• Applying and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of radiation protection and safety practices
• Independently performing or assisting a licensed practitioner in performing procedures

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited Radiology Program
• 1 year practical experience in a radiology department
• CT experience preferred but not required. On-site cross training available.
• Must be board certified ARRT (R)
• Washington State Certification
• Current BLS certification
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple work projects effectively and efficiently; independently as indicated. Must have flexible schedule to meet the demands of the department. Computer literacy is essential. Good phone skills.
• Physical Requirements: May be required to work any shift in emergencies. May be required to work any day of the week. Must be physically able to assist in transferring patients to and from CT/Xray table and transport patients to and from the exam room.
• Working Conditions: This person spends 95% of their time in temperature controlled office space. The potential for exposure to biohazardous agents or exposure to blood-borne pathogens and other potential infectious agents is minimal to none. This position requires contact with patients and staff under a wide variety of circumstances.
