Hose Assembler - 1565USA:NE:Omaha | Warehouse | Full-TimePosted 11 months agoDescriptionSummary:Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager, the Hose Assembler / Warehouse Personnel will primarily perform hose assembly duties, including building, testing, and inspecting hydraulic and industrial hose assemblies. Additional responsibilities include receiving incoming inventory deliveries, verifying shipment paperwork, entering inventory into the system, pulling and packing inventory to fulfill customer orders, creating packing slips and labels, scheduling carriers, following up on order status with internal and external customers via phone and email, managing inventory counts, identifying discrepancies, conducting investigations, coordinating freight pick-ups and deliveries for time-sensitive orders (including cost analysis and handling claims), and utilizing Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word) for various tasks. This role may also perform light instrument technician duties, servicing instruments and safety equipment.Responsibilities of the Warehouse Personnel & Hose Assembler include, but are not limited to:Assemble hose, hydraulic & industrialBuild hose assemblies from work ordersTest and troubleshoot hosesConduct final inspections of orders prior to shippingQuality ControlShipping and receivingPutting up stockStaging inventoryOrder and transfer pickingCycle countingOther warehouse duties as assigned by managementQualifications of the Warehouse Personnel & Hose Assembler include, but are not limited to:2-3 years warehouse experience preferredStrong mechanical skills to work safely with tools and equipmentStrong computer skills preferred, but not requiredBasic math skillsMust be detail oriented and dependableAble to work independently and within a team environmentAdditional Information:Physical Demand: Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.Working Conditions: Warehouse - Shop Environment, climate controlledTraining/Certifications: Hose assembly or warehouse experience preferred; forklift experience preferred but not requiredShift Time/Overtime: Ability to work Mon-Fri for an 8 hour shift between 8 am – 5 pm.
