Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Role Registered Nurse (RN) in the Labor and Delivery (L&D) unit responsible for coordinating patient care, conducting assessments, developing individualized care plans, providing family-centered education, and facilitating discharge planning. Key Responsibilities Complete admission interviews Document assessments Identify and report patient condition changes Assess educational needs Offer psychological support Facilitate interdisciplinary discharge planning Administer and document medications accurately Communicate significant updates to physicians Evaluate and modify care plans Deliver personalized nursing interventions with documented patient responses Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience Associate’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred) Current RN license (Texas or Compact) Certification in BLS and ACLS or ALS as per policy Key Duties Provide comprehensive, high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment Ensure patient safety Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams Support patient and family education throughout hospitalization #J-18808-Ljbffr Rock Health
