About the Position This is an independent practice opportunity for physicians who want clinical autonomy while receiving structured operational support for the non‑clinical business functions of their own practice. No prior business ownership experience is required. Key Responsibilities Provide patient care within the physician’s specialty scope. Develop professional relationships within the medical community. Coordinate payer credentialing with physician participation as required. Determine clinical services offered. Manage clinical quality and patient experience. Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination. Billing and collections management. Payer contract negotiation. Financial infrastructure and reporting. Operational workflows and staffing systems. Technology platform and implementation. Qualifications MD or DO with an unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice. Board Certified or Board Eligible in a specialty appropriate to the clinical services provided. Eligibility for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable. Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates. No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice. Interest in the independent practice model. Preferred Desire for practice ownership. Community‑based care interest. Leadership or program development interest. Location Multiple U.S. markets are available (urban, suburban, and rural). Relocation and market selection are physician‑directed, subject to licensure.
