Job Title: Lead Painter / Drywall Finisher – Year-Round Work ($25–$30/hr)
Location: Brooklyn Park, MN
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour, based on experience

About KS Drywall & Paint
KS Drywall & Paint has served the Twin Cities metro and western Wisconsin for 10 years. We’re a hands-on crew that takes pride in clean, quality work and doing the job right the first time. With interior and drywall work through the winter, our crew stays busy year-round, with no seasonal layoffs. We’re adding a Lead Painter who can run jobs and set the standard on site.

The Role
This is a combined painting and drywall position. You’ll lead paint projects from prep to final walkthrough, and you’ll also spend a significant share of your time on drywall: taping, finishing, and repairs. You run the site, keep quality tight, and keep the crew on schedule and on budget. This role has a clear path toward project leadership for the right person.

What You’ll Do

• Lead interior and exterior painting on residential and commercial jobs
• Perform drywall taping, mudding, sanding, and repair work as projects require
• Oversee surface prep, patching, priming, and finish coats
• Direct and train crew members on site
• Track material needs and keep the job site organized
• Communicate progress and issues with the office and customers
• Keep a clean, safe, professional job site

What We’re Looking For

• 2–4 years of lead painting experience (more is a plus)
• Drywall experience strongly preferred. Candidates must be willing to perform drywall work regularly.
• Project management experience a plus
• Reliable transportation to job sites across the metro
• Your own hand tools
• Available 40–50 hours per week
• Self-starter with strong time management
• Preference for candidates within 20 miles of Brooklyn Park

Why Work With Us

• $25–$30/hr based on experience
• Year-round, full-time work. No seasonal layoffs.
• Room to grow into project leadership
• A crew that values craftsmanship
