Local Team Collaboration:

• Join our close-knit team of 24 physicians and 18 APPs at Fredrick Health Hospital
• We prioritize the longevity of our clinicians and provide comprehensive ancillary services in the ED, including peer recovery, ED pharmacists, crisis intervention, social work, Goals of Care Hospice, and case management
• For those who like to teach, we work with PA students from Shenandoah, Frostburg, and other local programs

Qualifications:

• Physician assistant board certification required.
• Current, unrestricted license with at least 2 years of emergency medicine experience preferred.
• ACLS/BLS/PALS required.
• Must be able to work independently.

Flexible Scheduling:

• Most of us like to spend time with our families or outdoors, so a flexible schedule is available, and we cover for each other when we're out.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with fellow APPs and physicians in managing a thriving and very busy ED.
• We welcome the challenge of complex high-acuity cases. Our physician assistants practice at the top of their licenses with the support and collaboration of ED supervising physicians.
