WALK-IN INTERVIEWS – Material Handler
Carlo’s Bakery – 631 Grove St., Jersey City, NJ 07310

Pay : $16.00/hour
Shifts : Monday - Saturday (6:00am - 3:00pm) , (3:00pm - 1:00am)
No experience required.

Must be 18+ years or older
Responsibilities:
- Strictly adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) & safety protocols.
- Assist with general production under a supervisor
- Use pallet jacks to transport pallets of raw ingredients to production lines
- Feed cakes into automated machinery
- Place finished cakes into automated packaging machines
- Stack cases from lines onto pallets
- Operate stretch-wrap machines to secure finished pallets
- Use pallet jacks to safely load finished pallets into shipping trailers.
- Organize and set up station
- Follow sanitation protocol to clean as you go and clean equipment after use
- Assist with packing baked goods to be delivered to store locations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Other duties assigned by the Production Manager

Responsabilidades:
- Cumplir estrictamente con las Buenas Prácticas de Manufactura (GMP) y los protocolos de seguridad
- Asistir en la producción general bajo la dirección de un supervisor
- Utilizar patines hidráulicos (pallet jacks) para transportar tarimas de materia prima a las líneas de producción
- Alimentar el producto (pasteles) en la maquinaria automatizada
- Colocar los pasteles terminados en las máquinas de empaque automatizado
- Estibar (apilar) cajas de las líneas de producción en las tarimas
- Operar máquinas de enplayado (stretch-wrap) para asegurar las tarimas terminadas.
- Utilizar patines hidráulicos (pallet jacks) para cargar de forma segura las tarimas terminadas en los remolques de envío
- Organizar y preparar la estación de trabajo
- Seguir el protocolo de sanidad para limpiar sobre la marcha y limpiar el equipo después de su uso
- Asistir en el empaque de productos horneados para ser distribuidos a las tiendas
- Capacidad para levantar hasta 50 libras
- Otras tareas asignadas por el Gerente de Producción
