Miami Valley Gaming of Lebanon, OH is looking to hire a full-time Sous Chef to help our Food and Beverage culinary team deliver the exceptional guest experience we're known for. We are a market leader that strives to create excitement by providing the best in gaming and hospitality. Joining us in this leadership role will allow you to experience growth as we prepare for what's next to take our culinary offerings to a new level. The Sous Chef we are looking for:
- Helps deliver the guest experience through helping to keep our guests safe and healthy.
- Is a can-do person who likes to keep busy and doesn't mind to jump in and help with other tasks whenever needed.
- Enjoys not being stuck in a cubicle all day!
- Is conscientious about adhering to all service, health, safety, and personal hygiene standards.
- Understands the demanding hours some shifts can require, but also can appreciate MVG's commitment to maintaining a healthy work/life balance for all of our management team members.
- While self-motivated and able to work independently, is a people person and also enjoys the camaraderie that's inherent in a tight-knit F&B team.
- Is happy to take advantage of our excellent training and is considering advancing in a hospitality career. But whatever the future holds, for now, enjoys working in a fun and friendly environment where you are never bored and time goes by quickly.
Qualifications for a Sous Chef:
- Ability to perform typical tasks required in an entertainment/guest service environment
- Ability to be on your feet for 8 hours at a time
- Ability to pass a background check or be eligible for a gaming license
- Customer service and hospitality skills
