Empire Workforce Solutions is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Demand Planner to join our clients team! The ideal candidate will have experience in purchasing, inventory management, and supplier coordination, preferably within the agricultural or food production industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily purchasing of raw materials and supplies to meet production needs.

• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with growers and suppliers.

• Prepare daily material requirements and coordinate with production and sales teams.

• Generate purchase orders and track inventory using xTuple software.

• Resolve supply discrepancies and support quality assurance efforts.

• Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely product availability.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of purchasing or procurement experience preferred.

• Agricultural or food production industry experience preferred.

• Knowledge of MRP software and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

• College degree preferred but not required.

Safety & Quality:

Must follow company safety policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and food safety and quality standards.
