The position requires experience in inpatient oncology settings. Only candidates with appropriate certifications will be considered. Nurse must possess strong skills in managing chemotherapy and oncology care. Ability to float to other facilities as needed is required. Candidates should be familiar with charting systems, particularly Epic. Experience in pediatric oncology, including administering medications and therapies, is crucial. This role involves supporting patients and families, advocating for care, and educating caregivers. The nurse must handle complex patient cases, ensuring safety and effective treatment. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential for patient recovery. Candidates with previous charge experience are preferred. Floating between departments may occur based on staffing needs. A commitment to ongoing education and training is necessary. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are vital. Willingness to work nights and weekends is expected.
