As a Lead Lathe Machinist your abilities will be put to expansive use while also guiding and leading our team of lathe machinists. This is a full-time, second-shift position in a clean, well-equipped facility where your work makes a real impact. What You’ll Do: In this role, you’ll help mentor others in the manufacturing of high-quality, precision parts — from smaller chuck work up to 160″ long and 36″ in diameter — by creating CNC lathe programs using Mazatrol, identifying tooling needs, and maintaining precise inspection records. You’ll work in a clean, climate-controlled, well-equipped facility where your skill and attention to detail make a real impact. What You’ll Bring to the Table: 5+ years of experience operating CNC Lathe machines - required. Proficient programming skills using Mazatrol - required. Prior experience mentoring others is a plus. Knowledge of Mastercam programming is a plus. Ability to read and interpret part prints and technical drawings. Ability to calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and calipers. Ability to process precision parts from start to finish.
