Travel Physical Therapist

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree in physical therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Current, unencumbered North Carolina physical therapist license required prior to start.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC required.
• Experience providing home health physical therapy services required.
• Ability to perform patient evaluations and deliver skilled PT interventions per physician orders.
• Experience supervising and evaluating PTAs and home health aides preferred.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and agency-required liability insurance required for home visits.
• Proficiency with basic computer functions, electronic documentation, and online training platforms preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years of clinical physical therapy experience preferred.

Assignment details:

• Facility type: home health.
• Shift: evenings, 5x8.
• Responsibilities: perform patient evaluations, implement therapeutic services per physician orders, document patient progress, and participate in care planning and discharge coordination.
• Supervisory role: may directly supervise and evaluate PTAs and home health aides as assigned.
