Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Critical Care Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12 Hour PM-AM Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience Required License: Current RN License Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Must-Have: - Experience in critical care - Proficient in advanced hemodynamic monitoring - Experience with ICP monitoring - Skilled in managing ventilated patients - Knowledge of pressors, inotropes, and vasoactive medications - Ability to assist with line insertion and maintenance - Experience with tubes, drains, and post-surgical patient care - Familiarity with ventriculostomies, lumbar drains, bolts, and EVD - Ability to interpret PA lines and waveforms Description: This position is for a registered nurse specializing in critical care. The shift will be a 12-hour PM to AM rotation. The nurse will provide care in an 18-bed intensive care unit. Patient types include surgical, trauma, neuro, plastics, multiple organ failure, and sepsis. Experience in critical care is essential. Candidates should possess skills in advanced hemodynamic monitoring and ICP monitoring. Nurses will care for ventilated patients and manage pressors, inotropes, and vasoactive medications. The role includes assisting with line insertion and maintenance. Candidates should be familiar with managing tubes and drains for post-surgical patients. Experience with ventriculostomies, lumbar drains, bolts, and EVD is required. The ability to interpret PA lines and waveforms is necessary.
