Home Health Aide (CNA) - Duluth Hospice

Job Description:

As a team member, will provide personal care services to the residents and provide related tasks in accordance with a plan of care as assigned and supervised by a Registered Nurse. Responsible to care for the resident’s personal hygiene, promote a safe, healthy environment.

This position will work the following:

• 80 hours per pay period
• Occasional Weekends
• Shift: 8:00AM - 4:30PM

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

Required Qualifications :

• 1 year Home Health Aide and/or Nursing Assistant Registered experience required unless recently certified required  

• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification or the ability to obtain in one month from hire date  

• Active certification on the Wisconsin State Registry with the ability to obtain certification on the Minnesota Registry within 3 months of hire date, OR Active certification on the Minnesota State Registry with the ability to obtain certification on the Wisconsin State Registry within one year of hire  

• Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator’s license as verified through appropriate licensing agency  

• Proof of current motor vehicle insurance

Shift Rotation: Day/Eve Rotation (United States of America)

Shift Start/End: 8am - 4:30pm /

Hours Per Pay Period: 80

Compensation Range: $17.39 - $22.45 / hour

Union: SMMC Main Service Workers Local 70 (SMSVW)

FTE: 1

Weekends: occasional

Sign On Bonus: 1,500
