As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will be responsible for access control duties, monitoring entry points, and conducting routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while remaining visible throughout the area. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do: Assist with access control procedures by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors entering the manufacturing and industrial location. Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities within the facility. Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting personnel and visitors in accordance with site-specific policies. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe for unusual or suspicious activity. Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols. Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns if necessary. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related threats and/or violations at the location. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. A Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) issued by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is required. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
