IT Support SpecialistOverviewWe are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join a growing infrastructure and support team. This individual will provide technical assistance to end users, maintain computing environments, and support the day-to-day operation of enterprise technology systems. The ideal candidate possesses strong troubleshooting skills, customer service experience, and a willingness to expand their technical knowledge through ongoing training and professional development.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support for desktop and laptop systems, peripherals, and end-user devices.Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain hardware and software solutions.Troubleshoot and resolve operating system, application, and connectivity issues.Support user account management and access requests.Monitor and maintain business-critical applications and technology services.Assist with email, collaboration, and communication platforms.Support server environments and infrastructure systems, including physical and virtual environments.Maintain system security and ensure adherence to IT policies and best practices.Document issues, resolutions, and support activities while delivering excellent customer service.Required QualificationsKnowledge of desktop support, computer hardware, operating systems, and networking fundamentals.Experience troubleshooting technical issues in a professional environment.Strong customer service and communication skills.Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and user-related issues.Willingness to learn new technologies and participate in ongoing technical training.Preferred SkillsEnd-user supportUser account administrationOperating system supportHardware installation and maintenanceTechnical troubleshootingCustomer service and communicationNetworking fundamentalsJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Louisville, KY.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
