Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least five years of customer service, inside sales, order entry, inventory control, or related experience
• Six months of supervisory experience preferred
• Alterations or dry-cleaning industry experience preferred
• Proficiency with computers and order-management systems
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organization
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Job Duties:

• Process orders received by phone, walk-in customers, sales representatives, and electronic systems
• Enter and verify orders and supporting documentation
• Coordinate credit approval before releasing orders
• Oversee order picking, packing, and delivery preparation
• Create delivery manifests and route sheets
• Schedule local delivery routes based on order volume
• Process counter sales, returns, credits, and cash-sale tickets
• Monitor backorder and problem-order queues
• Verify COD orders before warehouse release
• Maintain inventory records and communicate restocking needs
• Track vendor orders with the purchasing department
• Support sales representatives with order deadlines
• Resolve customer and vendor inquiries professionally
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain efficient operations
