Job Title: Quantity Surveyor Location: Holtsville, New York (On-site) Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced professional to serve as the commercial and technical lead on complex capital construction projects within the gas sector, including LNG facilities. Our team relies on this position to ensure projects are executed safely, compliantly, and cost-effectively, while maintaining rigorous standards in engineering and commercial management. Responsibilities Act as the lead commercial representative for assigned LNG construction projects, ensuring compliance with contract documents and internal governance procedures. Attend the construction site five days per week to monitor project progress, productivity, and commercial risks, implementing mitigation strategies as needed. Develop and maintain accurate performance data, perform Quality Assurance/Quality Control, and support contractor claims management and dispute resolution. Collaborate with engineering, project management, and contract management teams to support effective project delivery and continuous improvement. Required Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. 5–10+ years of experience in quantity surveying, commercial management, or cost management on major capital projects. Demonstrated experience managing construction contracts within regulated utility or energy environments. Proven ability to work full-time on-site (5 days per week) in active construction environments, with practical experience on LNG plant construction or comparable industrial facilities. #J-18808-Ljbffr SSi People
