Full-Time ICU Nocturnist

Overview

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking Full-Time ICU Nocturnists to join our Critical Care Service Line at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. This position is for a board-certified/eligible Intensivist to join a dedicated Nocturnist team at NBIMC.

About the Hospital

Newark Beth Israel Medical Center is a 665-bed quaternary care teaching hospital offering a wide array of services, including a robust Cardiac Care program. The center is known for its transplant programs and advanced cardiac surgery capabilities.

Position Details

• Care provided in an exclusively inpatient setting (24-bed adult medical and surgical ICU), multidisciplinary, collaborative/closed model ICU



• Management of all hospital emergencies, including rapid response teams, codes, and procedures



• Focus on quality, safety, and evidence-based medicine



• Teaching fellows, residents, students, nursing, and other ICU staff



• 12-hour night shifts

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Critical Care Medicine



• Well-versed in critical care procedures



• Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of New Jersey



• A team player comfortable working in collaborative efforts with other physicians



• Ideal candidates will be eager to join a multidisciplinary team and be comfortable working in a teaching and collaborative setting
