Outpatient Clinical Program Manager (LCSW)

Position Summary The Outpatient Clinical Program Manager provides administrative leadership and clinical supervision to the Outpatient Services Department, ensuring appropriate psychosocial treatment programs that meet the needs of patients and the community and comply with regulatory agencies and the facility’s performance objectives. Responsibilities include managing the administrative and clinical processes for all Outpatient Services offered at the facility. Responsibilities Provide administrative leadership and clinical oversight to a multi-disciplinary team of RNs, Master’s level Therapists, Case Managers, and Licensed Therapists. Supervise a variety of outpatient programs including Partial Hospitalization, Dual Diagnosis PHP, Intensive Outpatient (IOP), Chemical Dependency Intensive Outpatient, Adolescent PHP, and Adolescent IOP. Ensure compliance with JCAHO, NAPHS, Title XII, CMS, OSHA regulations, patient rights standards, and all other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities. Implement and maintain effective policies and procedures related to behavioral and physical management, de-escalation, and appropriate use of seclusion and restraint. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and reporting. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of social work or related field. Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work and hold a LCSW license (or equivalent). Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the psychiatric/mental health field, with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in advanced clinical/management practice preferred. State license as California Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. Valid driver’s license. Additional Requirements Strong knowledge of JCAHO, NAPHS, Title XII, CMS, OSHA regulations, patient rights, and all other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities. CPR certification. Successful completion of the hospital’s designated behavioral and physical management training program, including de-escalation and appropriate use of seclusion and restraint, required prior to assisting in procedures.
