About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President, Transit-Rail Division Manager to lead the growth, strategy, and profitability of its services in the West Coast region. The successful candidate will be a key part of the senior leadership team, with full responsibility for the division's strategy, growth, operations, and people management. This role requires an industry leader with existing relationships at key transit agencies, particularly in Washington and California. The Division Manager will be expected to provide leadership and coaching to staff in various areas, including account management, business development, capture management, and project delivery. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, capable of building and leading a high-performing team, and have a proven track record in winning work and running a profitable business. Applicants for the Vice President, Transit-Rail Division Manager position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 12 years' of related experience, with at least 4 years' in a leadership role managing large teams. A background in business development, capture management, and account management is essential, as is the ability to build and maintain strong networks. The role demands a team-oriented individual with the ability to work with minimal supervision, excellent communication skills, and the ability to balance multiple responsibilities. A Registered Civil Engineer status in California or Washington, a graduate degree in engineering or a related field, and the ability to mentor technical staff are preferred qualifications. The position is pivotal in serving the company's West Coast transit and rail clients and is expected to begin immediately.
