Position Details

• Conduct thorough evaluations for diverse age groups, utilizing both standardized assessments and keen observational techniques.
• Design customized treatment plans focusing on immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing enhancements.
• Engage in individualized therapy sessions targeting various aspects of speech including language, fluency, and swallowing capabilities.
• Partner with interdisciplinary teams including PTs, OTs, nursing staff, doctors, caregivers, and family members to ensure holistic care approaches.
• Provide invaluable education for both patients and their families, empowering progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Support occasional inpatient evaluations and treatment, ensuring comprehensive care throughout their healing journey.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation following all state, federal, and organizational mandates.
• Commit to continuous improvement and professional growth through ongoing education and collaboration with peers.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Required Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred: ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of joining.
