Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations with patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations utilizing standardized assessments and observational techniques.
• Create individualized treatment strategies that target both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
• Deliver one-on-one speech therapy sessions centered on language, communication, fluency, voice, and swallowing techniques.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to formulate cohesive care strategies.
• Provide education for patients and their families to reinforce progress beyond our clinical setting.
• Assist in delivering occasional inpatient speech assessments and treatments, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational requirements.
• Engage in continuous professional development through education and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first 30 days of employment.
