Job Title: RN Telemetry I Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30 PM - 07:00 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License required Certifications: BLS, NIH Certification required Must-Have: Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision, ability to work in a stressful environment. Description: Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate. Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment. Must be able to work in a stressful environment. Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required. Nurses work together in teams and are supported by healthcare personnel. The job requires floating to various departments as needed. Travelers may be required to work weekends and holidays based on department needs.
