Assistant Nurse ManagerOnsite7AM-4PM (Flex) Primarily evening shifts, with the option of 5 (8-hour) shifts Monday to Friday or a flexible 4 (10-hour) shift schedule. Weekend on-call rotation required.Job RequirementsMinimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care hospital.Minimum of 1 year of experience in a supervisory or charge/lead role in a hospital.Active RN license in good standing in the state of Washington.BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.ResponsibilitiesAs an Assistant Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the management and coordination of nursing staff and patient care activities within the hospital. Your key responsibilities will include:Supervising and providing leadership to nursing staff on the evening shift.Collaborating with the Nurse Manager to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.Assisting in the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures.Participating in staff education and training programs.Monitoring and evaluating patient outcomes and implementing quality improvement initiatives.Assisting with scheduling and staffing to ensure adequate coverage.Handling administrative tasks related to nursing units.Providing support during on-call rotations on weekends.QualificationsA minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care hospital.At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or charge/lead role within a hospital setting.Active RN license in good standing in the state of Washington.Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.ACLS certification.We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, continuing education opportunities, and more.
