Job Summary: The Press Helper is a very important job working closely with the Press operator to keep the machine running and ensure that all tasks are performed in a safe and timely manner. Essential Functions: Responsible for gathering the material (film, cylinders, and inks) necessary to run the press Must be able to read ruler, tape measure, as this is critical for machine set ups Return cylinders and the balance of film and ink to the correct location after a job is finished Clean printing plates throughout the shift Assist operator with set up, operation, and repairs as needed Maintain a clean work area Schedule: Must eventually be able to work 12-hour rotating shift (two days on, two days off with lots of opportunities for additional overtime) but will start with Monday -Thursday 10-hour shift Your work will be overseen by the Operator & department manager for support Work Schedule: Night Shift Monday – Thursday 4:00pm – 2:00 am Benefits Include: Medical (Kaiser) Dental and Vision are FREE to employees Basic Term Life and AD&D + Voluntary Supplementary Life Insurance Voluntary Long-term Disability FSA: Health Care and Dependent Care Employee Assistance Program Tuition Reimbursement Discount Marketplace Paid Holidays + a Floating Holiday Job Type: *Please note, this is a TEMP to HIRE position Pay: $20.95 per hour with an increase every six months Pay Range: $20.95 - $24.01 per hour #J-18808-Ljbffr
