Assistant Director of Nursing (ADNS)We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADNS) to join our dynamic care team at South Shore Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in Rockland! As a valued member of our team, you will assist the Director of Nursing Services in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the nursing department.Must be an RN. $50 to $55 an hour, depending on experience, with weekly pay. South Shore is a 96-bed skilled nursing facility.Responsibilities:Assist the DNS with planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the overall operations of the nursing departmentMeet the clinical needs of all residents while promoting positive resident and family relationsContribute to effective communication and pleasant working conditionsAssist with maintaining, reviewing, and developing clinical policies and proceduresOversee staffing needs, schedules, and work assignmentsMake rounds of each nursing unit and conduct visual inspectionsEnsure proper medication administration, handling, storage, and auditingAssist with reviewing satisfaction of care and services by interviewing families and residentsRequirements:Must possess an active and unencumbered RN license in MassachusettsMust possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited school of nursing, college, or university (B.S.N. preferred)CPR certifiedMinimum one (1) year experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related healthcare facilityAbility to read, write, speak, and understand the English languageAbility to make independent decisions and deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, and the general publicKnowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term careWhat we offer:Competitive and Weekly PayHoliday Pay for Hourly and Salaried EmployeesOvertime Pay for Hourly EmployeesCareer Advancement OpportunitiesExclusive Employer Discount ProgramAvailable for Eligible Team Members:Employer-Paid Life Insurance401(k) with Employer MatchVacation and Personal TimeHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceWe are an equal opportunity employer that values diversity at all levels.
