A busy outpatient pharmacy located adjacent to a major hospital in downtown Kansas City, MO, is seeking a Pharmacist to join their team on a contract basis. This role provides a dynamic work environment where you will interact directly with patients and healthcare professionals, ensuring safe and effective medication therapy in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify, check, and fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Provide counseling to patients on prescription and over-the-counter medications.
• Oversee Pharmacy technicians to maintain high standards of pharmacy practice.
• Utilize the EPIC electronic health record system to support pharmacy operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Approximately 1 year of pharmacist experience preferred.
• Active Missouri Pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a busy outpatient healthcare environment.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, day shifts.
