This is a great locum opportunity for an OB Hospitalist to provide in-house coverage at a well-supported birth center in Mason City, Iowa. You'll work alongside a collaborative care team in a setting that combines clinical care with teaching exposure.

The Role Mason City, IA Start: ASAP Inpatient OB coverage (Birth Center) EMR: Epic 24-hour in-house shifts

Schedule As-needed coverage (~4 shifts/month) 2496 hour shift blocks available Immediate dates: May 20, 25, 26, 27

What You'll Be Working With ~500600 births per year 1 full-time OBGYN (clinic/surgery) OB Hospitalist team: 1 FT, 1 PT, 3 PRN 5 APPs (NPs, PAs, midwife) 1:1 nursing support + full hospital team

Support & Environment 24/7 Pediatric hospitalists + NICU support EFM-certified nurses and OB providers Lactation support (CLC & IBCLC) Lab, imaging, and pharmacy onsite Teaching hospital with residency + medical students

Responsibilities Inpatient OB coverage Supervision of APPs Collaboration with multidisciplinary care team No outreach or telehealth
