Patient Volume: 15 patients per day
EMR: Epic
Requirements: BC/BE General Surgery, NC license
Scope: Emergent general surgery coverage
Procedures: Appendectomies, cholecystectomies, and other emergency general surgery cases
Surgical Volume: 8-16 OR cases per week
Practice Model: Established surgical practice with local surgeon support
Support: Air and ground transport available for higher-acuity transfers
Setting: No clinic, ICU, or code responsibilities
