Certified Surgical Technologist

Job title : O.R. Technician (CST) Job location: New York, NY 10029 Shift: 8:00A - 4:00P Local Pay : $58 -$63/hr without benefits Contract length: 3 months, Possible extension ✅ Requirements: • High School Diploma required • Certified CST Training Program required • CST Certification required • Operating room experience preferred • Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills ✅ Responsibilities: MUST HAVE 2 YRS MIN OF OR TECH EXP IN A HOSPITAL SETTING MUST HAVE CARDIAC CASES EXP • Perform scrub assignments following aseptic techniques and surgical guidelines • Prepare sterile instrument tables and surgical supplies based on procedures • Assist surgeons with instruments, sutures, sponges, and supplies during operations • Maintain correct sponge, needle, and instrument counts with circulating nurse • Observe and maintain aseptic technique throughout procedures • Assist with patient positioning, draping, dressings, specimen handling, and patient transfers • Support circulating functions and prepare operating rooms for procedures • Assist with medication preparation under Registered Professional Nurse supervision • Assist with room clean-up, equipment organization, and operational support activities Pride Global offers eligible employees comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance, and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts.
