Basic Job Information Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Location: New York, NY 10037 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:30am to 4:00pm/ 40 hours per week

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support major operating room procedures within the Labor and Delivery department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a sterile surgical environment, assisting surgeons during procedures, and ensuring high-quality patient care throughout the surgical process. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments for procedures.
• Assist surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals during surgical procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with infection control standards.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures.
• Handle surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment appropriately.
• Support Labor and Delivery surgical cases in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of scrub experience in major OR procedures required.
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist training program, including Military Training if applicable.
• Active NBSTSA CST Certification required (no other certifications accepted).
• Primary Source Verification required.
• Current AHA BLS certification required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous Labor and Delivery experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure surgical environments.

Language Requirement:

• English proficiency required (Reading, Writing, and Speaking).
