**Exciting Opportunity for a Physical Therapist in Atascadero, CA!** Job Description: - Are you ready to take your career to the next level in a stunning location on the Central Coast of California? - Join a team recognized as the Private Practice of the Year by the APTA! - We offer flexible schedules — prefer to work 4x9's & 1x4? We've got you covered! **Key Responsibilities:** - Implement innovative patient rehabilitation programs designed to enhance mobility, function, and strength. - Maintain a current license as a Physical Therapist in California. - Evaluate and treat patients, utilizing best practices in physical therapy and rehabilitation. - Use Electronic Medical Records to accurately document evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries. - Guide and monitor patient care throughout treatment and follow-up phases. - Supervise PT Assistants and Aides regarding all aspects of patient care. - Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure top-quality patient care. - Communicate effectively with co-workers and other offices via multiple channels. - Manage accurate patient chart documentation, including prescriptions, test results, and authorizations. - Ensure patient comfort and address any questions or concerns. - Work closely with front office staff on scheduling and patient follow-up. - Demonstrate strong computer skills to fulfill job requirements. - Make independent decisions related to patient care. - Participate in business marketing and referral processes as needed. - Adhere to HIPAA policy and procedures. - Familiarity with PT billing policies and procedures for various payment types. - Proficient in DX and ICD-10 coding for billing services. - Engage in physical mobility tasks, including sitting, walking, and standing for extended hours. - Lift up to 50 pounds and assist with patient mobility and transfers. **Supervisory Responsibility:** - Oversee PT Assistants and Aides in delivering exceptional patient care. **Work Environment:** - This role is situated in a vibrant outpatient rehabilitation clinic. **Physical Demands:** - Engage in walking, sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving constantly during working hours. - Ensure resident safety by remaining vigilant and alert. **Travel:** - No travel required for this position. **Required Education and Experience:** - Degree in Physical Therapy. **Preferred Education and Experience:** - Continuing education courses are encouraged. **Additional Qualifications:** - Must hold an active license or plan to test soon for a Physical Therapist license in California. **Shift Information:** - Days **Minimum Years of Experience:** - 1 year Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
