Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) – Outpatient Imaging

Location: Sonora, California
Department: OP Imaging / Radiology
Contract Dates: 06/29/2026 – 09/27/2026

Schedule

• Monday – Friday

• 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

• No weekends

• Day Shift

Position Overview

The Radiologic Technologist operates imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic radiographs as ordered by physicians. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and experienced in outpatient imaging workflows

• Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures

  Responsibilities:

  • Position and prepare patients for imaging exams

  • Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures

  • Operate and adjust radiologic equipment safely and effectively

  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures

  • Verify imaging studies within PACS systems

  • Maintain accurate exam documentation

  • Communicate important findings or concerns to physicians

  • Prepare imaging rooms and equipment for daily use

  • Follow all departmental and organizational safety protocols

  Required Certifications & Licensure

  • ARRT-R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography)

  • California Radiologic Technologist License

  • Current BLS Certification (AHA )

  • Fluoroscopy License (Required)

  • Fluoroscopy certification in California

  Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology

  • Previous outpatient imaging experience
