HSHS Medical Group – Pulmonologist HSHS Medical Group is recruiting a BE/BC Pulmonologist to join our established pulmonology team in Decatur, Illinois. The location supports both J-1 and H-1B visa candidates and offers flexibility with part‑time or full‑time schedules. Position Details Monday–Friday clinic schedule with options of a 4‑ or 5‑day work week Minimal after‑hours clinic call only; no hospital or inpatient call rotation

Dedicated support staff Robotics available for surgical cases Flexibility to a 1.0 to 0.5 FTE J-1 and H-1B sponsorship available Position Requirements Unrestricted Illinois license and DEA prior to start Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonology M.D., D.O., or MBBS Pay Range $425,000 – $525,000 Core Function Provider Education and Experience Qualifications Clinical doctorate is required. Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients is required. Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations Licensed physician in the state of practice is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to their specialty. Must have successfully completed, or be in the process of completing, an accredited residency program. Must be board certified or board eligible.
