Mechanical technician

job summary:
Our client, an industry leader driving manufacturing innovation in Newton, NC, is seeking a Mechanical Technician. This dynamic role requires an Associate degree and 3+ years of equipment installation experience to help shape and optimize cutting-edge production lines.

• Manage the installation, alignment, and debugging of mechanical systems to ensure successful manufacturing capacity additions.

• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis to rapidly diagnose and resolve complex mechanical failures.

• Design and implement industrialized mechanical solutions to continuously improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and safety.

• Collaborate daily with vendors, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to keep projects within scope, time, and budget.

• Maintain critical engineering documentation, manage spare parts inventory, and support the training of operations staff on new equipment.
