Job Position: Conference 2026
Location: Austin, TX Pay Rate: $18.00/hr Description: We are hiring conference & event staff! Conference and event staff provide on-site logistical and operational support to ensure professional gatherings, meetings, and trade shows run efficiently at various venues in the greater Austin area.Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Assist with attendee registration, including check-in and badge distribution.
- Monitor conference rooms to ensure sessions run smoothly and on schedule.
- Provide technical or logistical support for speakers and attendees as needed.
- Communicate with event staff to address issues or requests promptly.
- Ensure conference materials, signage, and equipment are properly set up and maintained.
- Direct attendees to appropriate locations and answer event-related questions.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for attendee and staff interaction.
- Basic familiarity with conference registration systems and equipment.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and move between event locations.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to handle unexpected issues effectively.
