The Warehouse Manager oversees day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping inventory. This role manages stock levels, coordinates inventory counts, and ensures proper documentation and accuracy in inventory records. The Warehouse Manager leads and schedules warehouse staff, promotes safe work practices, and ensures proper use of equipment, including forklifts and other material‑handling tools. The role also involves optimizing warehouse layout, improving operational processes, collaborating with other departments, and maintaining clean, organized, and compliant warehouse facilities. Qualifications Strong stock control and inventory control skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and conduct regular cycle counts. Experience in inventory management and operations management to oversee day-to-day workflows and optimize warehouse efficiency. Proficiency in forklift operation and safe material handling, including adherence to safety standards and equipment inspections. Ability to lead and supervise warehouse teams, including scheduling, training, and performance guidance. Comfort with basic computer systems and warehouse management or ERP software for tracking inventory and orders. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem‑solving abilities in a fast‑paced environment. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with purchasing, sales, and logistics teams. Previous warehouse leadership or supervisory experience; knowledge of wholesale or distribution operations is beneficial.
