ASSOCIATE PRODUCT DEVELOPER

Location: Los Angeles Area. Hybrid/Remote with required travel. Type: Part-Time with Intended Transition to Full-Time Reports to: Chief Creative Officer Works Closely With: Head of Product & Technical Designer JOB DESCRIPTION ABOUT BOMBER Bomber builds performance-first apparel and accessories for athletes who live with commitment and Never Lay Up. We build where performance engineering meets premium refinement. Athletic fit. Premium hand feel. Product built for training, recovery, competition, and everyday wear. We are not trend-led. We are performance-first. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an Associate Product Developer to help support our Product Team throughout the entire apparel development process. ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking an Associate Product Developer who thrives on organization, enjoys apparel product development, and has an eye for both detail and design. Working closely with our Chief Creative Officer, Head of Product, and Technical Designer, you\'ll help ensure seasonal developments stay organized, suppliers remain on schedule, approvals are properly tracked, and product development continues moving forward efficiently. You\'ll also support Illustrator sketch updates, product presentations, and seasonal design needs as the company continues to grow. This position will begin on a part-time basis for approximately three months. Following a successful transition period, the role is intended to become full-time. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Product Development Track seasonal product developments Follow up with suppliers regarding outstanding submissions Help maintain seasonal calendars Identify delays before they become issues Support development from concept through production PLM & BOM Management Maintain our PLM approval statuses Follow up on outstanding BOM items Help ensure product information remains accurate and current Support seasonal data organization Organize lab dip photography and submissions Upload comments into PLM Follow up on resubmissions Track approval status Coordinate sample shipments when required Organization Organize approvals, seasonal assets, and development documents Identify inconsistencies across product information Support physical organization of samples and materials Design Support Update Illustrator sketches (if needed, not a requirement) Prepare product presentations (if needed, not a requirement) Support seasonal colorway updates Organize artwork and print files Assist with product design documentation Help prepare materials for product reviews and seasonal meetings WHAT YOU BRING 2-5 years of experience in apparel product development Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator Strong organizational skills Excellent attention to detail Understanding of apparel construction and manufacturing Experience communicating with overseas factories preferred PLM experience preferred Passion for performance apparel is a plus A STRONG FIT IF YOU Enjoy both creative and operational work Can sketch and communicate product ideas visually Catch details others overlook Take initiative Love building efficient systems Thrive in fast-paced startup environments WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS This role will strengthen the foundation of Bomber\'s Product Team by helping keep seasonal developments organized, suppliers accountable, and product information accurate.
